Virginia requires state safety inspections annually for all non-exempt vehicles. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that vehicles meet established standards for safe road use. Every year, vehicles registered in Virginia must undergo the state inspection at an authorized facility, where a certified inspector will evaluate key components, such as brakes, lights, tires, and the emissions system. Vehicles that pass the inspection receive a sticker indicating their compliance, while those that fail are required to make repairs before re-inspection.
At R.P.M. Mobil 1 Car Care Center, we are authorized to perform Virginia safety inspections. We invite you to visit us if you’re in Richmond, VA; Glen Allen, VA; Bon Air, VA; or a surrounding area and due for your vehicle safety inspection.
